Bright Future for Cranston, Rhode Island
By Brittany Schibi
Here at RGS Energy, we love solar and supporting local communities. We have a distinguished team of professionals looking to better the planet and teach people the solar process. Selling some of the first retail solar in the U.S. in 1978, we can confidently say we truly are the solar experts. We know solar and the word is getting out! Our team is so excited to announce that the Solarize Rhode Island program has chosen RGS Energy as the primary solar installer for the Solarize Cranston program that kicked off on June 7th! It is easy to see that the city of Cranston is just as excited as we are to be involved with the program. The Cranston Herald quoted Mayor Allan W. Fung saying, “The future is in solar, both for jobs and protecting the environment. As Mayor, I’ve been a big proponent of solar power in our city and supported changes to our zoning code to allow solar farms in larger-sized residential zones. Now that Cranston is a Solarize RI city, I urge our homeowners to take advantage of this program and join the effort to make Cranston the state’s alternative energy leader.”
Keep an eye out for the RGS Energy logo! We will be at dozens of workshops, events and open houses ready to answer any questions you may have about going solar with us.
